Weight decides everything here. 250gsm kraft with an external folded handle, or a twisted handle on a reinforced top, is what carries a full shop without the handle tearing out at the car park.
Produce is also wet. Uncoated kraft breathes, which keeps vegetables from sweating, and it goes in the kerbside recycling at home with the rest of the paper.
